ABOUT:  who we are

Firm Profile

Mark Reyer Architect, PA is a progressive, modern architectural design firm, providing architecture, planning and interior design services.  Mark Reyer, AIA has built a reputation for balancing a passion for excellence in design and producing high quality projects with a commitment to shepherding the design from idea to the built environment.  His goal is to exceed the client’s expectations for what the project could be and how it is delivered, while adhering to the fiscal responsibility of the project.

Mark Reyer, AIA has more than 22 years of architectural experience in the planning, programming and designing of health care, educational, corporate, religious, government facilities and residential projects. This experience includes designing and leading projects that vary in scope and scale from a reception area/conference room for a computer accessory company to an 185,000sf, $55 million administration building for a major pharmaceutical company.  These projects have involved leading project teams of various sizes and in firms working between multiple offices.  He has experience as a project architect/manager/designer working on all phases of projects, from marketing efforts for project procurement, design and documentation, through to construction administration.  Throughout his career, his projects have received numerous local, state and regional design awards.  Mark has also served on various committees, including Chair of the AIA Triangle Design Awards Committee, Chair of the AIA North Carolina Design Awards Committee and the AIA Triangle/North Carolina State University School of Architecture Joint Lecture Series Committee.

Mark believes that the success of any project depends on a rigorous, ongoing review of programmatic, conceptual and material choices and that this process depends on a continual collaboration between client and the design team.  Clients and key consultants are invited into the process from the first phases of design through the completed project.  Though accountability rests with the design team, Mark Reyer strives to create community ownership of the project, which leads to its eventual success.
